We've gotten two big snowfalls in the past few days, totaling around 20 inches. Helen and Grace were thrilled. Saturday the snow was powdery so we did some sledding in our hilly yard. Yesterday the snow turned very wet (at least the top 10 inches!) so we made a snow fort in our front yard. We're thankful our landlord has a plowing service to handle the steep driveway. We still end up doing some shoveling but it is manageable. David isn't as accustomed to snow (no snow in Shanghai last year) and he's short, so he had problems getting around and needed to be rescued a few times.
